You guys! It’s #TitansgraveTuesday! What is that, you ask?

Titansgrave is an RPG webseries by Geek and Sundry DM-ed by Wil Wheaton and featuring Hank Green, Alison Haislip, Laura Bailey, and Yuri Lowenthal. And it is awesome. Wheaton and his crew originated the world and story, basing the gameplay on the AGE system. Even if you’re not a role player yourself, it is exceptionally fun to watch. The art done for the series is absolutely gorgeous and the cast is both funny and engaging. If you dig speculative fiction of just about any ilk, I recommend it.

Introduction Video:

Episode One:

Try it–I promise, you won’t regret it!*

*May inspire cravings for craft beer, twenty-sided dice, and a RPG group of your own.

For your late-week viewing, I recommend:

“Ambition,” a short film about nothing less than life, the universe, and everything. Starring the inimitable Aidan Gillen and directed by Tomek Baginksi.

Then, for a mild case of the creeps, check out “Night Swim” by Rod Blackhurst and  Bryce James McGuire.

And to finish with something purely lovely, watch “Premier Automne” by Carlos De Carvalho.

It’s three for the price of one, today!

First, Space Janitors is back with Season 3:

Next, Ignacio F. Rodó’s very short film “Tuck Me In,” which is simply and beautifully scary:

And this slightly longer short film, “Yardbird” from Bridle Path Films:

If you know me, you know Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein is one of my favorite books of all time. There are, therefore, no words to express how completely stoked I was to see Hank Green & co. take on that seminal work of horror and science fiction in their newest vlog series (previous works include The Lizzie Bennet Diaries and Emma Approvednice to see them breaking away from Austen).

In the series, Frankenstein gets a shiny new update–Victor is now Victoria and enrolled in medical school, Robert Walton is the camera guy, Igor (not from the novel, but a nice nod) becomes Iggy, her classmate. But the core of the story remains the same. And it is awesome.

Episode 12 comes out tomorrow, so start watching!

It’s time for this month’s double feature: the first episode of the hilarious web series “Space Janitors” and a fantastic short film on Vimeo: “D.”

Two brilliant shorts to brighten your Tuesday.
